About Alysse

My name is Alysse Littleberry. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Master's Degrees in both Social Work and Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. Like many therapists, I am experienced in caring for individuals facing many issues. Some of the areas I am particularly strong in helping with are stress, burnout, life transitions, coping skills, anxiety, OCD, depression (including seasonal depression), suicidality, PTSD and trauma. I also assist individuals in navigating relationship challenges and improving communication skills across all types of relationships. When appropriate, I can integrate loved ones into the therapeutic process to support your goals. I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with Autism and ADHD. This includes helping clients develop executive functioning strategies, navigate burnout, embrace their authentic selves, and educate loved ones about their experiences. I am also experienced in working with disabled individuals and those managing chronic illnesses, understanding the unique challenges and intersections these experiences can create in daily life. I am committed to providing culturally competent care for clients from marginalized and minority communities, including immigrants, BIPOC individuals, LGBTQ+ clients, and those practicing nonmonogamy. Drawing from my social work background, I understand how systemic factors influence mental health and daily life. I maintain a sex-positive approach and welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities. I always strive to deliver the most effective care I can to my clients which is why I use evidence-based treatments when appropriate, including Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD with integrated ACT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, CBT for Suicidality, CBT for Insomnia, CBT for Seasonal Affective Disorder, and DBT-informed therapy. While I value and draw from research-based approaches, I always individualize care to align with your unique personality, goals, and preferences. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to determine therapy goals and the best path forward. Beyond my clinical work, I serve as a program evaluator for small businesses and non-profits. I find that helping businesses and non-profits pursue their goals mirrors my passion for helping individuals pursue their goals as well. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy puzzles, playing board games with friends and family, home improvement projects, gardening, and spending time with my cats. If you think I may be a good fit for you (or you’re not sure!), please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to talk more with you about your needs and answer any questions you may have.
